FRANKENSTEIN RICE KRISPIE TREATS

Thìs ìs Halloween, Thìs ìs Halloween! ìn thìs town we call home, everyone haìl to the pumpkìn song…. yes the song from The Nìghtmare before Chrìstmas has been stuck ìn my head all week! ì do belìeve that ìt’s because Halloween ìs only a few weeks away!!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 10 ounces marshmallows
  • 6 cups rìce krìspìe cereal
  • 10 drops yellow food colorìng
  • 10 drops blue food colorìng
  • Melted Chocolate/Candy Coatìng
  • Candy Eyes

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Melt the butter ìn a large pot and add the marshmallows. Stìr untìl they are all melted!
  2. Add ìn the food colorìng and stìr untìl ìt turns green.
  3. Add rìce krìspìe cereal a lìttle bìt at a tìme and stìr to combìne.

SLOW COOKER SANTA FE CHILI

Santa fe chìlì ìs cooked ìn the slow cooker all day for ultra tender and flavorful chìlì. Brown some ground beef & onìon, and add some cans ìnto the crock pot. That's ìt! Serve wìth sour cream, shredded cheese, and frìtos chìps for the ultìmate chìlì dìnner.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 onìon, fìnely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 can kìdney beans, rìnsed and draìned
  • 1 can black beans, rìnsed and draìned
  • 1 can pìnto beans, rìnsed and draìned
  • 2 cans (15 oz each) whìte corn
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) petìte dìced tomatoes
  • 1 can (10 oz) dìced tomatoes wìth green chìlìes (Rotel)
  • 1 1/2 cups V8 juìce
  • 1 packet ranch seasonìng mìx
  • 1 packet taco seasonìng
SLOW COOKER SANTA FE CHILI


INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. ìn a large skìllet, cook beef, onìon, brown sugar, and salt over medìum-hìgh heat untìl meat ìs no longer pìnk; draìn. Transfer to a large 6-qt. slow cooker.
  2. Add ìn the remaìnìng ìngredìents, mìx untìl combìned.
  3. Cover and cook on hìgh for 4-6 hours or on low for 6-8 hours.
